Pening pening

Yesterday my housemate and I went looking for tailor. We went to Ampang but can't find any bridal boutique there, shheessshh, then went to Semua House as I was thinking of having my own akad nikah dress instead of initial plan to rent, then we went to Kompleks PKNS and Alam Sentral in Shah Alam.

At Semua House, we found a very nice lace, bidang 60 at an affordable price. I can't do much as I already bought a lace. So just a suggest to u guys, instead of hitting Jakel etc, have a look at Semua House, their lace are variety and at a very good price too.

Then we realised there's a shop there that sell all wedding accessories, from headband to hantaran stuffs, hmm, cannot remember the shop name but I just realised its there, hahha. So later can get headband or crown there.

At Shah Alam, I was looking for rate for baju kurung moden for my akah nikah. At Semua House earlier, rate is around RM180-200. At Shah Alam, I found one shop which offer RM140 while others are RM150-250. One simple baju kurung moden pon bley reach hundreds ahhhh.. eeee... geram geram. My housemate persuaded me to sent for tailor at Kedah but, when am I going back? Bz gile mcm xde life nih, huhuhuh. Stress benor.

Then we asked around for tailoring rate for wedding dress. Most start at RM400-500 exclude beading! Beading start from RM400 - 1000!!! How I really wish I learn the art of sewing!!!
That rate is totally over my budget as I thought I could get at RM250!!! Furthermore, the lace that aunty bought from Bandung is fully beaded thus cost more as the tailor need to sew back the beads that fall off during cutting process. Then I went to this little shop, not a bridal boutique and asked how much her rate. She examined the lace, comments on the heavy beads etc, final figure, RM 280!!! I asked her to just make a normal kebaya and so, decided to give her for tailoring. I hope it turn out okay, I donno, felt very scared as it just a small shop, just pray hard it'll be okay.

Now, if I could start all over again, I would just rent all my wedding dresses for all event. Seriously, the cost of tailoring is so high!!

Btw, Alam Sentral got really nice wedding dress there with a fresh new design instead of the traditional kebaya. There were really beautiful!! My housemate dah pening with choices when we are there, hehehe. And they treat us really nice, it feels so good.

Now I just need to buy a plain chiffon for my akad nikah. I am thinking of sending it back to Kedah for tailor as the rate should be around RM50-70. Hmmm.

I really really wish I'm not an auditor so I got my weekends to prepare for my wedding. Instead, here I am, running here and there, and at the same time, need to make time for work!!! Selepas entry ini saya akan bekerja. Ye, saya tau, saya xde kehidupan. Huhuhu.
